Welcome To Jurong Lake Park ;D
Jurong Lake is a 70ha freshwater lake and reservoir located in the western region of Singapore formed with the damming of Sungei Jurong further downstream.There are a few tourist attractions located within the Lake such as Chinese Garden and a Japanese Garden,that are located on their respective islands within the lake, as well as the nearby Tang Dynasty Village, which has since closed down. People will often go to Jurong Lake for a jog, fishing at the jetty, cycling and more. This is also a place for people to rest.There are many different types of plants, trees and animals in the park . The new Jurong Lake District would be ready in a few more years, it is expected to attract billions of dollars in development, for offices, hotels, food and beverage and entertainment uses. The Urban Redevelopment Authority is going to transform the area around Jurong Lake to a unique lakeside destination for business and leisure in the next 10 to 15 years.New developments around Jurong Lake include a public park will be developed next to Lakeside MRT Station, new Science Centre will be built next to Chinese Garden MRT Station, Lakeside village and enhanced Chinese Garden and Japanese Garden.
